Local Giving

World Relief Atlanta always appreciates the generous donations of volunteers and community members. Your willingness to give enables us to continue serving the immediate needs of refugee families.

As we set up apartments for the use of newly arriving refugee families, we are constantly in need of good used furniture.  Due to limited space, we have to restrict donations to the most needed basic items. These include couches, kitchen tables and chairs, coffee tables, dressers, dinnerware, and blankets.  We can also accept new households and hygiene supplies like sponges, cleanser, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and tissue paper.  Contact John Arnold at 404-294-4352 or jarnold@wr.org to make a donation. We can pick-up donations in nearby areas.

We receive only $1125 per refugee to care for them for ninety days. With this money, we pay their rent and utilities and buy anything else that they may need. Because this money does not last long, we rely heavily upon the generosity of donors to adequately care for refugees. If you would like to help, please use this link to make a secure donation via our website. If you prefer to use a check, please make it payable to “World Relief,” write “Atlanta” on the memo line, and mail it to Joshua Sieweke at 655 Village Square Drive, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. If you have any questions, please contact Joshua at 404-294-4352  or jsieweke@wr.org.

Because many jobs in Atlanta are not accessible by MARTA, we love to receive donated vehicles for our refugee clients. If you would like to donate a vehicle, please contact John Arnold at 404-294-4352 or jarnold@wr.org.
